Acadia Watercolors

Land and Sea  People and places   Sea and Sky

About us

The people and their place in Acadia is just as mysterious as any other facet of the island. With approximately 4,500 islands in Maine, there are only 15 year round island communities left. Acadia and its residents  are survivors  of vast social change that has swept across our nation in the last 100 years. As visitors we are witness to a beauty that is beyond words. Our photographs and watercolors capture the exquisite simplicity of another time and place in our post modern world. Here on this page you can possess a glimpse into this enduring tradition and precious, timeless reality. The world of people and their connection sea.
